Wright's Bar is a favourite haunt of many LSE students. Be ready with cash as no cards accepted!
Getting a meal from Wright's can be quite chaotic as there is no much place to order... and if there is a line in addition (the line gets long if you go at peak times), you'll find it very difficult to understand what to do. Luckily the Wright's bar staff are super friendly so it makes the whole experience quite fun and unique,
The sandwiches are ridiculously cheap but generously filled. If you know what you're doing (be careful on the fillings you choose, as some can be more expensive) you will find it hard to pay more than £2 for a sandwich.
The restaurant offers 4 types of bread to fill (from small to big): Roll (costs between £1 to £1.5), Sandwich (costs between £1.5 to £2.5), Bap (costs between £2 to £2.7) and the Ciabatta (costs between £2 to £3.5), most of the people will order the bap which is really big and amazingly tasty... But sandwich is a good option as well if you're not very hungry!
Their chips are super good also, thinly cut and crispy with as much sauce as you want, and BIG.. enough for 2 people at least! And all this for £1.4.
In general, excellent choice if you're looking to eat on the cheap in central London.
